Description of Acronyms:

• URAI – Roots “Universal” RAI blowers are rotary positive displacement blowers, designed for various industrial applications which require low pressure movement of air or gas. The “Universal” mounting feet on the URAI models allow these blowers to be mounted in any of four different configurations (left, right, top, bottom).
• G – Roots URAI-G blowers are for gas applications. Instead of the typical lip seals, URAI-G blowers utilize mechanical seals to minimize leakage
• DSL – Roots URAI-DSL stands for “Dual Splash Lubrication”, which is an upgrade to the standard URAI models. They have oil lubrication on both ends instead of the standard grease lubrication on the drive end
• J – Roots URAI-J stands for “Whispair Jetport”, which is an upgrade to the standard URAI. The J models reduce noise and dampen pulsations coming out of the discharge
• FLO – Roots FLO blowers are heavy-duty positive displacement blowers engineered specifically for reliable pneumatic conveying of grain and similar products
• RAM – Roots RAM stands for “Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability.” These blowers are engineering for reliability, boasting a heavy-duty construction using state-of-the-art CNC machining, and a 24-month warranty from date of original start-up or 30-month warranty from date of original shipment
• RCS – Roots RCS blowers are heavy-duty blowers for 7″ and 8″ blowers.There are also Roots RCS-J models for quieter operation
• DVJ – Roots “Dry Vacuum Whispair Jetport” blowers feature a discharge jet pump which allows cool, atmospheric air to flow into the cylinder and permits continuous operation at vacuum levels. The unique design enables vacuum levels to exceed 16″ Hg, which is the vacuum limit of a standard unit
